Flightsim Planner uses the latest version (V3) of the Googlemap library for Android. There are three standard styles (Standard, Satelite and Terrain) which are also avialable in the app. But this new Googlemaps version also has the ability to create your own styled maps. We have created a special ICAO standard based map for use in Aviation. All the maps are locally cached which makes offline viewing possible.
